Batesville Municipal Court & Code Building Renovation
The mid twentieth century buildings are prominently located on the historic city square. The renovation of the Batesville Code Building in downtown Batesville, Mississippi included full interior and exterior renovation, as well as façade renovation of the adjacent Municipal Court Building. Both buildings received updated storefronts and awnings in character with downtown Batesville. The historic 1,500 square foot Code Building interior renovations included a new lobby/reception area, three offices, a workroom, breakroom, support spaces, and improvements to accessibility and entryways. The historic character of the exterior carried through to the interior renovations through period light fixtures as well as historically appropriate millwork and flooring.
