“There have been some success stories of restoration.

COFO headquarters in Jackson has been transformed into a museum. The Tallahatchie County Courthouse where Till’s killers were acquitted in 1955 is being restored to its appearance. Architect Belinda Stewart of Eupora said it is should be completed in July and will serve as a working courtroom and a museum. Across the street, construction is complete on the Emmett Till Interpretive Center. with furnishings and exhibits to follow., she said.”
