“Stand Up!” : Mississippi Freedom Summer of 1964 Exhibit
We recently attended a reception opening a new Exhibit at the William F. Winter Archives and History Building called: “Stand Up!”: Mississippi Freedom Summer of 1964. The Exhibit was installed by the Foundation for the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.
We were impressed with the exhibit and enjoyed the ceremony, especially when Charles McLaurin recounted stories of his work with the organizaiton SNCC in the summer of 1964.
